This tour is sure to please all ages and is our most popular experience at the farm. Horse Whispering Lessons- Did you know that Shelley is a real horse whisperer? Taught by a local Maryland legend, Shelley would shift her business model and abandon many "traditional ways" that are still popular today. Learn the language of the horse and the "three things" that every horse needs from a human. These lessons are introspective and have a therapeutic aspect- some say life-changing! Lessons are 1 hour long and are best for ages 10yo- adult.
Available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Message Shelley to see if there are openings.
$80/ Single person
$65/ per person

Brush N' Bond- Believe it or not, grooming a horse doesn’t just make their coat shine but it can also help to build (and increase) a bond. The reason is that horses use mutual grooming (known as allogrooming) to build friendships within the herd. Grooming horses reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, and improves overall emotional health in humans and horses. This session also includes basic horse safety. If you desire a break from a busy life, and seek to relax and unwind, this is the activity for you! Perfect for ages 6- adult, Brush N' Bond is also great for groups up to 6 people. 1 hour long.
Available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
$40/ Single
$25/ per person

Paint N' Pet- Relax under the shady canopy of an old oak tree and paint the day away. Don't worry if you're an artist or not! Shelley will guide you step-by-step to paint a selected farm animal. Afterward, head over to the barnyard and visit some pretty neat animals! This experience is best for ages 6- adult and is 1 hour long, broken up by 30 minutes of painting and 30 minutes of petting (or a mix thereof.)  This activity has a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 6 people.
Available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Overnight ranch guests $25/ per person
Public $35/ per person

Project Poo-  Learn responsibility and get a REAL idea of what having a farm is all about!
Help maintain animal pens and refresh bedding right alongside Shelley.  After we're done, we make compost that will be used in the garden! This is the perfect activity for those thinking about having a farm one day or wanting to know what goes into animal caretaking. Project Poo is 1 hour long and geared for ages
8- adult. Available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
$25/ per person
FREE Indoor Farm Animal Scavenger Hunt- (For overnight guests only) Join the hunt to find every farm animal sticker inside your rental. Hunt down the cow, chickens, goats and more (in some pretty sneaky places!) Keep your eyes peeled because if you find the correct number you'll win a prize!
FREE Name That Animal Challenge- (For overnight guests only) Do you have a good memory? Take Name Challenge by studying the pictures and names of every farm animal at the ranch. Recite them back to Shelley as she points them out and declare yourself a winner!
Let's practice:
What's the name of feather-spreading peacock?
The fluffy white sheep's name?
The hairy red bull?
The name animal that's brown and gobbles?
Good luck!!
